Genetics & environmental factors are believed to be involved in the development of pcos it is developed Androgens hormone in the woman's body, Androgens is a male hormone  and because of this, facial hair growth and weight gain such symptoms are seen on women suffering from PCOD.

PCOS is also negatively affected by diet & lifestyle. So, with this diet plan “Let's heal pcos and achieve weight loss with food”. Most of you know pcos in detail, so we are not going in depth about it. But we will be sharing some tips and why we use certain food in this weight loss diet plan.

Want to achieve weight loss with  food,  you need to go gluten free and that means no refined wheat products like maida, rawa, pasta. No refined sugar & oil. No processed foods like cakes, soft drinks.  Avoid milk, ice cream, mithai made with milk etc.

Instead of above you can have homemade curd, homemade paneer. Healthy fats like desi ghee,coconut oil etc. You can have whole grain and if you prefer homemade whole wheat roti, the have only for breakfast.

With pcos you need more carbs from “whole grain” which gives the much needed fiber which leads  to a slow & steady rise of blood sugar.

Let's see the Diet Plan:

Morning:

6:00am - Have detox water on empty stomach.

There is nemours way to create detox water.
  • Lemon juice with warm water
  • Lemon juice with warm water and honey
  • Lemon juice with warm water and chia seed
  • Apple cider vinegar with warm water
  • Ginger and Lemon slice with warm water
Detox water help to boost your metabolism and clean your body from toxic, and
it's actually helps reduce your weight.

Walking / Jogging - 20 Min.

Studies show that running every day for 20-30 minutes is very good for pcos/pcod. Running reduces weight very fast. It makes our respiratory system, heart muscle and stomach strong and increases oxygen and blood circulation throughout our body.

7:00am - Drink water + Turmeric tea

How to Make Turmeric tea:
  1. Boil one cup of water.
  2. Add one teaspoon of turmeric powder.
  3. Cook for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea into another container.
  5. Add in Two small slice of ginger, one tablespoon of lemon juice, one teaspoon cinnamon powder and  honey.
  6. Stir them all together.
8:00am - Two Britannia NutriChoice Digestive with Two boiled white egg.

10:00am - One fruit - Apple OR Pomegranate

11:00am - Carrot Seed

How to:
  1. Boiled one cup of water
  2. Insert carrot seed into the water 
  3. Stir 2 Minutes 
  4. Enjoy the drink with seed

Afternoon:

1:00pm - Muesli with Milk, Apple, Almonds, Walnuts, Black Raisins

4:00pm - Ginger Tea and Roasted Makhana, Dates


Night:

8:00pm - Brown Rice with Moong Dal and Curd

9:00pm - One Tablespoon Coconut oil with warm Water

Exercise is a must & regular exercise means stronger ovaries, which will help in balancing your hormones, that also means less bloating, mood swings, and cramps.

Sleep is an important strategy. Try to sleep and wake up at the same time  every day. Irregular sleep and night outs will wreak havoc on your hormones. So a good 8 hour peaceful sleep is much needed in healing PCOS.
